There are a lot of solution to hide your documents or whatever files from your computer. Some of them will be saved as encrypted files, some of them will be hidden. Dekart Private Disk comes with a new solution. It will encrypt your files on a local or a removable disk which can be virtual or not.
This method will prevent your informations from malware, viruses or to be accessed by other programs. It can encrypt the informations on local and USB drives, CD's, DVD's. This enables the files to be portable and you can work with them on any other computer without installing the software locally.
First of all, the application will create a virtual disk where you will copy the needed files. After this you can set the firewall, enable or disable the autorun function. Every drive will be password protected. You can create several encrypted drives of various sizes.
If you wish to use an USB drive you should first install the Dekart on this drive and then create the image with all the files. Just right click the application and choose 'install to removable disk'.
With the backup mechanism you can recover a previous removable disk, if of course you have made a backup for it. This is very useful because of the corrupted files that can appear after encryption or because of the hardware problems of your USB drive.

Jalbum 8.0

There are already a lot of people using this album creator, for it is a versatile program which has a lot of features. For instance, you can drag and drop a folder containing your photos into JAlbum and it will display the photos in the editing window, allowing you to quick select an album skin and style, thumbnail and picture size, and preview it before saving it. That's just for starters, because there are many options available: presets, support for JPEG, JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG, WMPG format images. You can calculate the album size, extract comments from pictures, and much more. All skins have one or several CSS styles attached, so that you may choose one that is better suited for your album. What I like most about JAlbum is that is has many skins and styles that you can choose from, and they are all customizable.
Advanced Uninstaller PRO 9

The tools are beautifully structured into six categories: 'General Tools', 'File & Folder Tools', 'Internet Browser Tools', 'Registry Tools', 'Reports & Info'. The categories are displayed as buttons on the left hand side of the program window; on the right hand side of the program window you can also find the tools of each category. This thing makes the program extremely easy to use.
In the 'General Tools' category we can find the programs uninstaller tool which allows you also to remove invalid entries, forcefully remove programs and view program properties. The are also included: an installations monitor, a startup manager (customize programs which start with Windows), a font manager, a Control Panel and Windows Services. The nice thing about the 'Windows Services' category is that there are a few profiles from which to choose from (for example: original settings, gaming configuration, safe configuration etc.). You can also find a Service Editor which allows you to start or stop manually any service.
